Charlbury Town Youth Under 16 Girls
During the 2023/24 season we had a squad of 11, compared to other teams where squads were between 15 and 21. This meant that each girl had to play every game of the season and we would like to congratulate the team for finishing 4th in the A League of the Oxfordshire Girls Football League.
We do play a very attractive style of football and we receive many compliments from opposition managers, parents of the opposition and referees. Due to this we have managed to increase our squad to 16 for the forthcoming season.
The costs to enable children to play football are always increasing, whether this is supplying matchday kits, training kits, pitch fees and training ground fees. Sponsorship is an important part to achieve this, and we would like to thank our sponsors who kindly helped purchase the kit and tracksuits for the 2023/24 season and we will continue using these for the 2024/25 season.
With the increase in our squad, we are looking to raise an amount of £300 to help purchase 2 new kits and 6 tracksuits. If anyone would be interested in making a donation or would be willing to sponsor, please get in touch.
If you would like to come and support our team during the forthcoming season, we will be playing our home games at Enstone Sports and Social Club. We play on Saturday mornings and kick-off is at 10 am. You can also follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
