New customer information screens at station
A successful planning application lodged by First Great Western shows the design of screens to be used at Charlbury station. The same design in use at Oxford and Reading will be installed, with a three-line display on the platform, and a Departures monitor in the ticket office.
As redoubling work continues, Network Rail is believed to have slightly cut back its plans for the new westbound platform, which will now be five carriages long (comparable to the existing platform) rather than eight.
