The Big Apple Take-Away on the Playing Close
The apple take-away on the Playing Close on Sunday afternoon (14th Sept) was a great success, we had lots of varieties for people to take, many thanks to all those who contributed either by giving their spare fruit away or by giving it a good home. Even people with plenty of their own apples were pleased to take other varieties and enjoy a different flavour.
Charlbury Sharecroppers and Sustainable Charlbury will be holding another Big Apple Take-Away on Sunday 28 September on the Playing Close at 2.30pm so put this date on your calendar.
If you have more apples or pears than you know what to do with then please bring them along for others to share.
If you have apples/pears that need picking then please email charlburysharecroppers@cwag.org.uk and ask us to pick them for you.
