A 'Buzz' around the Corner House
The Corner House was buzzing yesterday with visitors from far and wide for Charlbury's first 'Sewing Bee' organised by Sue Rangely.
Spinning, weaving, quilting, patchwork, dressmaking and, of course Sue's speciality: machine embroidery. Whether they came to compare notes, to get advice, just to look or (like the young visitor pictured) to try their hand, the day was judged a great success.
The Sewing Bee continues today, Sunday, from 1.30 to 4.30 when there will also be a pop-up vintage tea room in the Anne Downer Room. Why not come along?
