Solar Power for Charlbury Primary School
The Low Carbon Hub, a social enterprise based in Oxford, have teamed up with Charlbury Primary School to install 24kW of solar PV panels on the south east facing school roofs. The solar panels will generate enough electricity to power an average of 5 UK households, saving approximately 10 tonnes of CO2 per year. The installation is expecting to be up and running by the end of next week (22nd August) and in time for the new school year. The Low Carbon Hub have funded the project and will be providing discounted green electricity to the school.
