World War One Commemoration Event at the Railway Station
On the evening of Sunday 3 August, a very moving World War One Commemoration event took place at Charlbury Railway Station. There were war songs, along with poetry and readings on platform 2 where poppies had been planted in the spring and were now in full bloom. Many Charlbury residents filled platform 1 to witness this event and sing along in memory of the 50 Charlbury soldiers who never returned
