History of Art Group

The History of Art group at the Community Centre, run by Juliet Heslewood, has proved so popular that we have to have a second day to accommodate everyone!

There will now be an additional class (looking at the whole history of art, in sequence) on Thursdays from 3.30 - 5.00 pm at the Centre. £10 at the door, starting on 14th November. Do get in touch if this interests you and be put on the ever increasing mailing list!

It is a relaxed, informal occasion looking at many images - and by 14th November we will have reached the 12th century and the age known as 'Romanesque' - Juliet's favourite - the beginning of the Medieval period. By Christmas we should be acquainted with Michelangelo and Leonardo...and after that, plenty more until Easter and the Impressionists! Please be in touch: juliet.heslewood@btinternet.com
