The bookshop is closed. All the remaining stock went in our sale, or has been given to local good causes that raise money from bookstalls. Nothing is left.
A HREF="http://www.evenlodebooks.co.uk"Click here/A for our website. It has information on lots of local books, including the books we publish under the Wychwood Press imprint.
You can download extracts from a number of these books for free, among them "Wychwood and Cornbury" and "A History of Charlbury". We have also put the complete text of "Reminiscences of Charlbury" on the site: this was written in 1892 by Jesse Clifford, who had been head of the British School in Charlbury from 1842 to 1884. His great great nephew Geoff lives in Charlbury today and has written an introduction to his relation.
