Urgent Charlbury appeal for refugees in Idomeni

I'm delighted to report that this appeal has raised over £2000 and counting. All the money is being spent on aid in Idomeni already.

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed. And there is still time to add to the total!

We are especially grateful for just over £800 raised by the Chase Benefice [serving the parishes of Chadlington, Ascott-under-Wychwood, Spelsbury and Enstone] and the vicar, the Rev Mark Abrey. This was raised in two days, partly at a Lent lunch and partly through the benefice email newsletter. The fact that this money came largely from the prime minister's home parish does not go entirely unnoticed!
