The Rose & Crown presents a night of raw wild blues on Saturday 3rd August, with the welcome return of Will Killeen.
Will Killeen, originally from County Mayo, Ireland, is a highly acclaimed acoustic blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has a unique style - Celtic roots mixed with American blues. Will taught himself guitar from the age of 10, influenced by Howlin' Wolf, Doc Watson, The Pretty Things, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, to name a few. He's also considered one of the finest slide guitar players in Europe today.
Will first played in Charlbury over 25 years ago. He is a wonderful guitarist, and his repertoire includes a lot of old blues classics, as well as his own material.
