Sat 20 Jul: Dry Stone Walling Day with Wychwood Forest Trust

The 4,000 miles of dry stone walls that snake across the Cotswolds are an instantly recognisable feature of our landscape. Dry stone walls are not just lovely to look at. They also provide amazing habitats and wildlife corridors. Sadly, many are now in a state of disrepair and the number of professional wallers is dwindling.

Join our Countryside and Reserves Manager, Toby Swift, to learn the basics of Cotswolds Dry Stone Walling. The course will cover: site preparation, tools, materials, building and completion. It will take place at our popular nature reserve Foxburrow Wood, near Witney, in West Oxfordshire.
