This is Christian Aid Week when members of churches across the UK raise money for projects to help people in some of the poorest parts of the world.
This year Christian Aid's publicity features Burundi, one of the toughest places on earth to live, where Christian Aid is providing community based training and resources to help people set up small businesses and support one another.
In Charlbury, envelopes are being delivered round the houses requesting donations however big or small to help people surviving on far less than us. If you wish to make a donation, please bring it to Cornerstone in the Corner House in the morning, Monday to Saturday. Donations can be left at Cornerstone for this week and the two following. If you can Gift Aid your donation this adds an extra 25%.
