We regret that this event has had to be cancelled due to the speaker being unwell. We hope to put on a similar talk in the future.
Katherine Bradley : Creative Women- Arts and Crafts in Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds (including Norah Lindsey and Rosemary Verey).
As Dr Katherine Bradley explains, many talented women also contributed, including Morris’ daughter the embroiderer and designer May Morris, whose portrait was painted by Dante Gabriel Rossetti; the bookbinder Katharine Adams; the Painswick textile designers Phyllis Barron and Dorothy Larcher; and the enamellist May Partridge.
Finstock Village Hall. Doors and bar open at 7.30pm and the talk begins at 8pm.
