Tue 23 Apr: Barn Owl Conservation for Oxfordshire
This event is in the past.
7.30-9.00 pm
Friends Meeting House, Charlbury
Stewart Thompson, Emeritus Professor in Biodiversity Conservation at Oxford Brookes, has a lifelong passion for wildlife conservation and training. When he’s not supporting research in the Masai Mara in Kenya, he devotes his time to working with a small team who deliver barn owl conservation in Oxfordshire – making boxes, installing and monitoring them, and under license - keeping an eye on the chicks. Stewart will talk to us about the work he does with barns owls, and how we can set up at least one barn owl box or perhaps more, around Charlbury.
Everyone is welcome.
