Wed 2 Nov 2022: Probus Lunch and talk

This event is in the past.

This month the Probus lunch will be on Wednesday 2nd November at Witney Lakes Resort

Following the lunch there will be a talk from James Price entitled

Farming after Brexit

James is a local farmer at Perdiswell Farm in Woodstock

In this talk he will consider the question  - 'What is the real world after Brexit particularly for the local farmer, is it all doom and gloom?'

James is a partner in DVH Price and Son and has been working for and managing the business since 2005. He studied Agriculture at Cirencester and gained work experience on various farms before concentrating his efforts on Perdiswell Farm Woodstock. He completed the Worshipful Company of Farmers ‘Advanced Farm Business’ Management course in 2005 and was “Young Farmer of the Year in 2009.” Supporter of Environmental Stewardship Scheme and winner of many awards James will present an informative view on how the world around us is likely to change in the coming years.

Probus lunches are now open to all and women are particularly welcome. They are an excellent opportunity to meet people over an enjoyable lunch and listen to an interesting talk. The atmosphere is very informal and dress is smart casual.

So whether you are new to Charlbury or would just like to find out more about us please consider coming along
