Charlbury School Association is proud to present the Oxfordshire Theatre Company production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND by Neil Duffield.
Long ago on a golden afternoon, in the city of dreaming spires, a boat set out along the Thames, on a trip to Wonderland'??
A brand new musical version of this much loved magical adventure. From the tranquillity of a sunny Oxford riverbank, an inquisitive Alice will lead audiences down the rabbit hole into a mysterious wonderland of the imagination. Discover curious creatures, puzzling people and unravel marvellous mathematical mysteries as you join Alice on her quest to find out who really stole the Queen of Hearts jam tarts! In a world where nothing is quite as it seems, but everything is just as it is, you never know who'll pop up next on a trip to Wonderland...
Written by Neil Duffield, the 2006 winner of the Arts Council England Children's Award 'for work which displays excellence, inspiration and innovation in children's theatre', the new version of this intriguing Oxford-based tale, combines puppetry, song and dance.
The performance will take place at Charlbury Primary School on Saturday 12th February 2011 at 4pm, doors open 3.30pm. The performance will last 90 mins plus an interval, during which refreshments will be on sale.
