On Thursday evening we’ll also be offering the main (a delicious Southern Indian curry) and all the sides with some Chloe’s Peshwari bread to takeaway for £20 per head.Y ou can book by mailing chloescharlburyreservations@gmail.com or just show up! We’ll also be open for takeaway drinks for Friday evenings egg throwing: Charlbury’s one of our favourites of the year… The Charlbury Flea Market of dreams (and our last of the year) is taking place This Saturday, 21st September! Wonderful pastries, bread and delicious treats from Forge House and @mariellabliss from 11am, coffee machine will be on! The Flea Market will kick off at around 1.30pm: and we are laden with excellent things! Our lovely friend Matthew (aka @thecharlburygardener ) will be bringing beautiful bunches from his patch just down the road. Sarah and Ailsa will be bringing a lovely selection of vintage, second hand and pre-loved clothes. Bric-a-brac from Charlbury’s very own Alice, Georgia and Michelle. Our friend Minnie from Stonesfield will be bringing beautiful ceramics made and fired in her home studio. Beautiful vintage and art from A Splash of Curiousity and lovely Lucy Jones will be back with a lovely selection of mid-century ceramics, pots and houseplants. We’ll keep going all afternoon, weather looks good, so come and say hello and hope you all enjoy Charlbury Street Fair. We are closed next week, so if we miss you this weekend we're looking forward to seeing you in October Chloe and the gang.xxx Menu This week’s menu is designed to feel warm and comforting as the nights draw in. Chloe’s bread this week is spiked with almonds, sultanas and coconut and honey served with some zingy, crisp dips. A crunchy, spiced salad making the most of abundant green beans and onions from our lovely friends at @thekitchengardenpeople and @churchlaneproduce Fragrant curries which include our first parsnips of the season from Church Lane. Served with life-affirming dal, seasonal vegetables with mustard seed and lemon and aromatic rice. The apples in our garden are abundant and great this year so we’re keeping pudding simple with a delicious apple pie with a bit of organic cinnamon and cream for pudding or Kingstone beautiful Hidcote cheese which is delicious with figs and honey.
