Chloe's - Christmas Opening and Info

Hi Everyone

I hope this finds you all well. Firstly I would love to thank you all for coming to the Charlbury Market on Saturday, it was so wonderful to see so many of you and to have such a jolly morning! Lisa, Dan and the market volunteers did an amazing job – thank you to all of you, it was a really lovely event.

Some changes for us this week, we have decided to lean into some of the things people have been requesting at Chloe’s that we haven’t managed so far – so hopefully you will be pleased with our Christmas offerings!

Thursday 21st December – 10am-5pm

Open for coffee, cake and lunch. Lunch will be a slightly simpler affair than usual: Salt Pig Cured meats, warming soup, our bread and pesto, local salad plates, delicious sandwiches and beans on toast with cheese for kids on holiday.

Friday 22nd December – 10am – 10pm

From 10am: CINNAMON BUNS are back, plus SaltPig BLT’s and HLT’s (Halloumi, Lettuce and Tomato) all using our bread, homemade aioli and Kitchen Garden leaves.

From 5.30pm: CHLOE’S CURRY BOX £14 – Eat in or takeaway.

Church Lane Pumpkin, Chickpea and coconut curry, Moong dal, Gujarati-style slaw, Potato and Parsnips with ginger, garlic and fennel seed, Beetroot raita, Kitchen Garden veggie pakora, crispy onions and jasmine rice. Add a spoonful of Bombay-syle Organic Chicken curry. £4 (Gluten free, dairy free and vegan all available, half portions for kids too!)

Plus lots of other delicious stuff for Christmas (and beyond) available including:

• Chloe’s Vouchers (in £5 and £10 increments – a great gift for the Chloe’s lover in your life!)

• A lovely selection of low intervention, organic and local wines. Including Freedom of the Press (excellent English wines, made in Minster Lovell by our pal Gavin from Chadlington). Also lots of great fizz from the UK and beyond and delicious pudding wine. We also have a few Chloe’s Wine Boxes left: a selection of our favourites from this year (2 whites, 2 reds, 1 fizz, 1 pudding, tasting notes, ribbon and tag - £85)

• Beers and Ciders (and gift boxes) from Little Ox (Freeland), Tap Social (Oxford), Wiper and True (Bristol) and Napton Cidery (other side of Banbury)

• Artwork and cards by lovely Charlbury-based artist Alice Pryce

• Christmas direct-trade, single estate coffee from Missing Bean (Oxford)

• Tiddly Pommes Apple Juice (Oxford) – great for Mulling, Zingi Bear (amazing ginger beer – great for non-drinkers, drivers and those in need of hydration!) and some good no-and-low options too.

• Evenlode Honey made by fellow-Charlbrarian Ben Cottam

• Flour from Bruern

• Chocolate and Christmas cards from Arthouse Unlimited
