Thu 6 Jul 2023, 08:44 Dear Residents, On behalf of Festival Republic and MAMA Festivals, we are delighted to share our exciting plans for the 12th edition of Wilderness taking place from Thursday 3rd of August until Sunday 6th of August at Cornbury Park. EVENT TIMINGS The car parks will open on Thursday 3rd August at 10:00 followed by the campsites at midday and the arena at 14:00. Please note that there might be sound checks prior to that potentially starting as early as 10:00. On Monday 7th August the campsites officially close at midday but from experience, it may take a couple of hours longer until all visitors have left. We will of course endeavour to clear the campsites as quickly as possible. TRAFFIC We are aware that Oxford Train Station will be closed from Saturday 29th July until Monday 7th August and have arranged a festival shuttle from Oxford Parkway Station to the festival. As per last year, there will be marshals and signage in place to prevent traffic passing through Charlbury. If you notice any issues with the signage, please do email stombulca@festivalrepublic.com to let us know so that we can make sure it’s fixed ASAP. ANNUAL PRE-EVENT COMMUNITY MEETING We would like to invite you to a pre-event community meeting on Thursday 27th July at 19:00 at the Charlbury Community Centre. We will be there to answer all your questions, explain our plans and share a cup of tea!
