Charlbury has beaten previous standing British heat record

I have found another Charlbury weather station at Hill Close where the data is available on-line. That's because it uploads data to a public Met Office database for private weather stations.


This is the chart of the temperature from Hill Close, where, looking at the detailed date, the highest temperature measurement was 37.2 C.

This is John's data from Wychwood Paddocks, and the highest observation on that was 38.6 C, but the time intervals are different (it seems John's weather station uploads data summarised into hourly intervals). Interestingly, the peaks are at slightly different points in the day. Unfortunately the data for Wychwood Paddocks is missing for 15:00. The Hill Close detailed data is at (roughly) 5 minute intervals, and summarised to 1 hour intervals by the Met Office site before graphing.
