Charlbury has beaten previous standing British heat record

I cannot find any on-line weather measurements for Charlbury YHA. Forecasts, yes, but no measurements. If they are available, then they'd clearly be very representative, and not too far from me. As it is, then if I search I do get this hit :-

Click through and it gives you the results for the Little Rissington weather station which, it appears, is fractionally closer than Brize Norton (9.0 vs 9.6 miles).


 

This is the map of Met Office weather stations from their site, and the one to the west of Oxford is Brize Norton. Little Rissington is fairly close. The numbers are the temperatures as of 17:00 on 19th July, as there's only about 24 hours of information on that map.
