We run twice a month in Chipping Norton and have members who come over from Charlbury for our fun and stimulating sessions. We know how much creative activity and social interaction helps people to live well with their dementia. We are currently facing big funding reductions from the end of this month which will make it so much harder for us to do this important work, let alone develop the service to meet the growing need for it. We are doing all we can to meet the challenge and to fundraise. We have been nominated for the second month running to receive £1000 from the Co-op Community Choices scheme. Last month The Lido won it and congratulations to them. If you would like to vote for us to receive this money please send your email address and Co-op membership number that is on your Co-op card to this email address : member.communications@midcounties.coop You must do this BY Sunday 20th March as voting opens on 21st March until 31st March. Once voting has opened you cannot vote for us if you are not registered before that date but would be able to vote in the poll next month. Please note that you must be a member of the Midcounties Co-op. If you joined the Co-op in another part of the country your vote will not be counted. You can of course join the Midcounties Co-op too. Once you are registered you will receive an automated email from the Co-op on 21st March with info on the four nominated good causes. Do look our for it in your inbox and please then press the link underneath the Lights Up description to vote for us. Remember that you can unsubscribe from the Co-op emails at any time although by receiving one monthly you can take part in voting for local good causes to receive £1000 which has to be a good thing.
