The Station Bus

Susie---good, I'm glad about that. It's just that I'm still worried that if people prefer to walk up the hill in the pouring rain the bus is on rather shakey ground (if you see what I mean !!)

Glena, you will find that it is used quite alot on the later trains.

Last Thursday at about 5p.m. I was hugely grateful to get the station bus: I had had a very long journey, a very heavy case and it was raining. However. I was the only person on the bus although quite a lot of people were walking up the hill. None of them seemed to have much luggage but, as I said, it was raining heavily. Though one must applaud this keep-fit spirit, if the bus is not used even in such bad weather, I imagine we will lose it. Will the people who then object be the ones who are not using it now ?
