Just to let everyone know, the Town Council e-bike is back from its service, it's currently out on loan but due back in the next few days and will be available again to borrow from Friday onwards. Do book in if you'd like to have use of an e-bike for a couple of weeks to see how you like them. https://charlbury-tc.gov.uk/borrow-the-council-e-bike/ ;

Russell, ask the clerk, details at: https://charlbury-tc.gov.uk/

I know that it is booked out until September https://charlbury-tc.gov.uk/borrow-the-council-e-bike/

If you are interested in trying a different e-bike, come to the Town Council e-bike try-out event (there will be several e-bikes to try) at Wychwood Paddocks 1.30–3pm on Saturday 9 September.

The e-bike is a very generous opportunity . I presume that it is a  community asset and so I  wonder as to how often it has been used? Does anyone know and is there an accessible record of its use?

Thank you to Charlbury Town Council for their try out an electric bike scheme ! Would encourage anyone who has been vaguely thinking about it just to have a go ! Those hills just disappear :-)

Just a reminder that the Town Council's electric bike is available to borrow for up to two weeks.

The idea is that people can get a feel for how an e-bike would work for the journeys that they would want to use it for, and then decide whether to get their own.

E-bikes are great for making cycling even more fun and less of a slog - meaning that you are far more likely to get on your bike and leave your car at home more often.

The Town Council got its own e-bike in the spring and it has been booked out continuously since then - but it's available now!

You can book it here: https://charlbury-tc.gov.uk/borrow-the-council-e-bike/
