CALLS ABOUT POWER CUTS.

Thank you Tim that is comforting to know and as you say unlikely that it was a scam.  So Market Street had the power cuts that we on The Playing Close had been warned of and how sad that we have become suspicious of genuine motives for such a call!.

Cotswold frames and the deli both had power cuts this morning and this evening so the calls might not of been a scam

Rather odd!  This morning we received a 'phone call from Southern Electricity asking if we have had a power cut, we responded 'no' and that was it.   This evening we have had two call neither of which we answered....the recorded message of the first one around 7.30pm stated that we may have a power cut before 10pm and to report it if so.  The second call which we didn't answer was......'press 1 if you have heard this message'  That was about 8.40pm.

We suspect a scam unless other S.E.  users have received the same message today.
