And today, drying its huge wings at the bottom of the Mill Field, a cormorant.  Until a dog walker happened along....  c'est la vie...  hope it found some fish.

Yes, we have seen it too today, in the location mentioned by Tony below, as we walked to the Cornbury lake and back.

There are very often little egrets down by the bridge into Cornbury.

It was visible standing in the field downstream of N Lodge drive on Friday afternoon. Still there when I returned from a walk along the Park fence, then took off as I was back on the drive.

For any twitchers among you, I watched this morning as a rare Great White was seen off by our resident Grey from the 'puddle' (which rises with rainfall) in the middle of the field between the cricket ground and the river.  Only the second time I've seen one here....
