Charlbury's Cornerstone

In case you or someone you know is not familiar with the Cornerstone, it is basically a community sharing hub that was set up as a place to give and take. Anyone may come in to collect or drop off food. There are lots of fresh apples and tins of food available. Equally, the Cornerstone can always use donations of fresh, dried, or tinned food, flowers and funds to buy more goods to share. The Cornerstone provides the weekly food shop for more than 20 Charlbury families. It also collects from the Oxford Food Hub weekly and brings excess food to Charlbury to help reduce food waste. The team has worked hard to make it clear this Charlbury initiative is a place for all to share. If you have any questions, please stop by and talk with one of the volunteers or Jo, the manager.
