I was having a lovely sleep on my toadstool the other morning, when a cacophonous noise erupted nearby and suddenly i went flying through the air, enveloped in a cloud of grass and twigs. I appreciate having the verges cut. After all I was almost invisible! But a bit of warning would have given me a chance to get dressed properly. Delighted as I was to be replaced, the kind lady who returned me to my lovely home failed to be carrying mortar, or superglue with her, and so I am teetering on my fungus, expecting to slide off any minute. My gnome-phone has been damaged too, and I wonder how my fellow gnomes have fared in the onslaught. Maybe the ungnome Gnome Meister could help us out? x Enstone Rd Welcome Gnome. |
