Wed 20 Jul 2022, 17:49 Hi Liz, it sounds like the back light inverter is faulty or the back lighting array is broken. It also could be a dry joint or many different semiconductors blown up. If it is 32 inch or smaller I could have a look ( limited space). It has been too hot to work in the workshop lately so I'm still running a backlog. |

Wed 20 Jul 2022, 13:24 Can anyone recommend a local TV repair service? Or is there a forum reader who might be able to help us out? Our Hitachi TV currently has sound but no picture. The problem started yesterday, so I assumed it was a heat-related issue, but it's continued today. I've googled it and tried as many of the suggested fixes as I can but no luck so far. |
