If you receive any text which you suspect to be a scam, you can report it to the \National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) by simply forwarding it to their number 7726.

Before deleting the scam text, make a note of the number that sent the text as the NCSC will acknowledge your message and ask you to text to them the phone number that sent you the scam, enabling them to investigate.

Further information can be found at NCSC.GOV.UK

Take care to check the authenticity if you get a text as I did this morning asking you to get a PCR Covid test: it was a scam. Best not to click on the link.
