You may well  be right, Richard.  But the capitals, exclamation marks and extra question marks in the post in question do rather suggest the question "why do we need a balance?" rather than "why do you think the balance isn't right at the moment?".

Perhaps the seven likes are happy with the balance as it is at the moment?

Seriously?  A whole load of Charlburyites "like" a post implying that there is no need to limit the noise pollution imposed on residents of the town?  Is the feeling so prevalent these days that it doesn't matter how much you muck up other people's lives so long as you are enjoying yourself?

(Please don't interpret this as implying I would go to the opposite extreme, but surely there is a need to strike a balance somewhere?)

Why does it need to go to 3 am?  Even Glastonbury has an earlier finish for the louder music than wilderness does.

I don't think people have an issue with Wilderness as such, its just asking for a reasonable time for it too start and finish and for them to actually stick to it.

There should be a time limit much earlier than 3am and the decibels lower!!

Good afternoon Charlbury!

As Wilderness is fast approaching, we’ll be holding another residents’ meeting online as follows:

Date: Tuesday 5th July 2022

Time: 18:30-19:30

The Zoom link will be shared on the Charlbury Forum on the day of the meeting.

Please share this invitation with your friends and neighbours.

We will update you on all the wonderful plans for this year’s event, and will give plenty of time for you to raise any questions you might have.

There will be a separate post over the next couple of days with details on local day tickets, so please keep an eye out if you're looking to join us.

Team Wilderness x
