And thanks to the football and sports club for all there hard work. I’n serving beer and soft drinks pimms and real ale. And doing an amazing raffle Thankyou to all the committee members that helped out.

Yesterday at Nine Acres just proved what a hardy lot the folk of Charlbury are!

About 300 people ventured out despite the weather being a bit 'dreach' as they say north of the border. The school children led so vivaciously by Jennie in their Beatles medley were delightful and the 'Vodka Shots' led by Dave Oates produced an amazing set which had people bopping on the grass.

Thanks are also due to the Charlbury Fire Station lads who came down to offer the kids some hose target practice. Also to the Community Centre for hosting the gig.

Finally to all the volunteers who pitched in to put it all up and then take it down again.

That's the spirit of this place. Long may it continue!

A very BIG thank you to Jennie Grierson and the Charlbury Primary school choir for their performance on Sunday, just wonderful, as were The Vodka Shots, thank you.
