Wed 1 Jun 2022, 20:46 If piping is a bit monolithice to dissolve we've got some wire which is lesser size and might be more surface area/volume for plonking in acid. But you'll have to strip the PVC insulation off. You are aware that copper can produce toxic materials aren't you? Check the salt you are producibg for its biological mobility etc!!! |

Wed 1 Jun 2022, 12:12 Does anyone have a spare small length of copper piping? No longer than 10cms. Or a small bundle of scrap copper wire? I'll be soaking them in a jam jar to make a copper 'brew' for natural fabric dye. So pristine condition isn't necessary. Thanks. Sarah |
