Lots of black-headed gulls flying up and down the river South of the bridge on the Cornbury drive, presumably feeding on the mayflies massing above the water. I don't remember seeing that before. I imagine it may be that removing the trees along the river bank has made it more accessible to the gulls. Whatever, they make for a pretty sight in the evening sunlight, flashing white over the dark river.
