You can buy 'air drums' now - don't take up so much room (good) but can't easily be put into the cupboard (not so good).  

If you want to set wonderful goals, Sing Sing Sing from Carnegie Hall can be found on YouTube.  (Just in case you missed it).

Hi, my 10 year old has expressed an interest in drumming. I wonder if there are any drummers out there willing to teach some basics? I imagine he has in mind a full drum kit, I on the other hand would be happy with a small hand held drum (at least to begin with!)
