Pub lunch by bus

We usually walk there and one of us can’t walk back after a pint and has a bus pass…

Brilliant! And next week you can take the bus the other way to the Plough in Finstock or the Royal Oak in Ramsden…

Pulhams are gradually fitting out their fleet with card machines, so hopefully the X9 will get them shortly.

So today three of us (one having four legs & a tail) took the bus to the Tite Inn in Chadlington.  There's a bus-stop just a few yards from the pub;  we could have come back in the same way, but opted to walk across the fields .. and very pleasant it was too.

It's worth people being aware that the bus doesn't accept cards;  it has to be cash.  (We're too young yet for our bus passes.)  Highly recommended, for the environment's sake and guilt-free drinking.
