Charlbury Sunflower Competition

Hi all.. the Charlbury Garden Society will have a sunflower category in the Autumn show in the children's section  this year. Gill, if you’d like to contact me at secretary@charlburygardensociety.org.uk, perhaps we can work on something together.

I would be happy to organise one (and to provide sunflower seeds so it's a level playing field in the competition!) Don't want to step on toes if anyone else is doing it though - and would welcome advice from whoever organised it last year.......

Sunflowers are almost a national flower in Ukraine, I believe.  Rowan Yarns have just published a free pattern for knitting or crocheting a sunflower in Ukraine's colours - it jumps off their website.

Is anyone organising one? I seem to recall we had one last year..
