Sat 12 Mar 2022, 09:23 (last edited on Sat 12 Mar 2022, 09:26) This is from the Witney Gazette: Police have temporary extra powers to carry out stop and search checks within the following area until 8.45 p.m. today: --Old London Road between Charlbury Road and the A4450. -- Burford Road between Shipton-under-Wychwood and the B4450 in Chipping Norton town centre. -- Sarsdon Road --The B4450 between Chipping Norton and the village of Churchill --Charlbury Road, between Chipping Norton and the village of Spelsbury. This is following a violent incident involving weapons yesterday (11/3/22). A man is currently receiving hospital treatment after that incident. |
