Or a metal barrier? I know it would be ugly but if it saves the stone wall might be worth it.

I thought maybe some chevrons or an arrow on that corner might be more helpful than keep rebuilding the wall! You couldn't make it up!

I suppose one way to do it would be to put a mini-roundabout right by the Stonesfield turning? Of course that begs the question of how many times the bridge must be repaired before the cost of a mini-roundabout would be covered. In my view they should claim on the insurance of whoever caused the damage!
