Charlbury looks beautiful in the snow if even it does cause chaos

Road conditions as of 5pm today:

Burford Road impassable.
Spelsbury/Chipping Norton Road passable but only with extreme care.

(though presumably if you have a 4x4 you can blast along...)

The pavements in the town are impacted snow, which tonight will freeze. Are there any young people who are not at School, or work, who will take a spade and help to clear them. Tomorrow if we believe the forecast the pavements will be evn worse, especially dangetous for the elderly trying to get to the shops. Please help. it's safer than sledging! Jean Adams
