Mon 28 Feb 2022, 12:49 Hi Amanda, Yes, there is a working group which is planning a Queen's Picnic on Nine Acres playing fields on Sunday 5th June. This is being sponsored by the Town Council. All households will receive an invitation via the Parish newsletter in due course. We plan to have live music and children's activities. I understand that the Corner House committee and the Primary School are organising a separate event on Saturday 4th June. So, it should be a fun weekend! Just offer a prayer to the gods of wind and rain.... |
