Careful - Pooles Lane.

Whilst walking down Pooles Lane on the right hand side, somebody has wedged open a very small manhole cover with what appears to be a loaf of bread.  I cannot imagine what was in their mind in doing so being as it is dangerous if someone trips but it also encourages rats.  If it was done for a specific reason, then surely a sign would be a good idea so as to avoid an accident.
