@RodEvans - I did see that. Speaking as a former permanent way engineer, I cannot for the like of me accept that the rails had exceeded the specified critical rail temperature today!! A False Flag issue?? :)

Is this still happening with the weather/delays on the railways because of Storm Eunice?

Timings from 'realtimetrains' are available now. 

The train is scheduled to pass through Charlbury at 10.11½. Note that the 10.10 Gt Malvern - London train is scheduled to be in the station on the Up platform at the same time.

The Scotsman is scheduled to haul the Cotswold Venturer through Charlbury on the morning of 19th February on its way to Worcester. Timings are not yet available but keep an eye on RealTimeTrains.  The return journey is via Kemble and Swindon.
