New Years Day Walk 2022 - Cornbury Park

Dear All,

1st January 2022 - 9am til 4pm

As usual the residents of Charlbury are warmly welcomed to walk in the Deer Park at Cornbury on New Year's Day between 9am and 4pm. Access is via the main North Lodge entrance.

The walk last year was a great success (in the middle of much tighter restrictions than are currently in place) and therefore this year should be equally as safe / enjoyable for everyone that can attend. This said, please keep your distance from other groups and follow the signs when entering / exiting the Park to keep the North Lodge gateway flowing. 

Additional reminders for the day:

• Walkers are requested not to park on the drive at North Lodge and to remain within the boundaries of the Park.
• Please keep to the roads and hard tracks at all times.
• Sorry but dogs, even those well behaved and on leads are not allowed in the park as they upset the deer.
• The park is open as a walk. Please no bicycles. 
• Please respect the privacy of Cornbury House and the other houses within the Deer Park. These are family homes.
• Follow any other guidance as provided by signs or a member of the Estate team
