So glad that you're appreciating the books etc: people have been very generous in donating them.

Perhaps in time we'll be open all day, but meanwhile between 10 am & 1 pm on six days a week we've some excellent-quality books for £1 each (three for £2) downstairs - non-fiction in the front room on the left, fiction in the back room on the right - and a huge selection upstairs at 50p.

Please keep donating books, and also DVDs, CDs and maps: just leave them under the table in the hallway. Nothing is wasted .. whatever doesn't end up on the Corner House shelves finds a home, and makes money for charity, elsewhere.

Just want to give a shoutout for Cornerstone. I'm really appreciating the availability of books, DVDs and games - as well as fresh veg. The shelves of Corner House secondhand books are also a treat. Love the principles behind these initiatives.
