Lost mail

We were expecting two separate mail items at the end of last week (a sizeable parcel and an A4 envelope with documents, to 71 The Green) sent via standard Royal Mail. They were sent separately from different people but neither arrived, which is a bit strange. Other mail has appeared as usual since then. We've checked with Royal Mail but aren't getting anywhere. On the off chance, they haven't appeared at anyone else's house, have they?
