But could you, if you're going to make a loud noise in the street pls consider your elderly neighbours with dementia who won't have a clue what's going on and may be upset. And possibly pets as well.

I think people need to start doing a little bit more to contribute themselves, political leaders can’t change the habits of millions of people.

For a start, people should stop driving kids to a school 5 minutes up the road and stop driving to shops within walking distance (unless they have mobility issues of course).

Check labelling on food packaging and don’t buy if it’s not recyclable, boycott companies like Coca Cola and Amazon for not stepping up to their moral obligations of being responsible businesses.

Or just take the easy option and blame the Tories (as usual)

We'll be ringing bells and banging a saucepan at 6pm today! It's a great opportunity for Charlbury to join with communities across the UK to show our deep concern and encourage all those in positions of influence to rise to the challenges facing us all.

I think St Mary's is participating.  We can make noise in our streets.  We're facing a climate emergency and our political leaders are failing us.  Big time.  Let them know that we know....
