Details of the wine and food are now on the website here.

I'm not aware of any prize for eating all the different types of wurst but you'll have my admiration if you do!

Well said Matt! The very essence of Charlbury Beer Festival outlined: "Most of the local good causes and organisations we support have had a tough year without any Beer Festival grants, so by supporting us on 15/16 October, you can help us to help them". It's this sort of pulling together that makes Charlbury the wonderful town it is.

Drinkers of Charlbury - our beer list is on the website to whet your appetite! We've tried to get a nice balance of local beers and those from further afield, a choice of styles and strengths. Whether your preference is for a 10% Belgian brown ale, a raspberry wheat beer or a session pale ale, we have it covered.

Tickets are selling fast so be sure to order yours on the website. Most of the local good causes and organisations we support have had a tough year without any Beer Festival grants, so by supporting us on 15/16 October, you can help us to help them.

Its getting colder, wetter and days are getting shorter , so great to have the Charlbury Oktoberfest to look forward to! Fun, food, live music, great beers (and wines) and all to raise much needed monies for worthy causes...can't wait!

Can't wait for a chance for the community to enjoy ourselves and raise money to distribute to local good causes. 30 real ales on sale and a great Ska band to get the dancing going on Saturday night October 16th.

Great to be able to have a beer festival in Charlbury again. Looking forward to tasting those local brews. Fermintation may have been a greater discovery than fire!

Thanks for the timely reminder Nick! Thought I'd share details of the different musical 'themes' we've got over the three Oktoberfest sessions:

  •  Friday 15th at 6:00pm is Boogie Me an 11 piece band playing classic R&B, soul and boogie tunes - think Jools Holland's big band...so time to dance!
  • Saturday 16th at 12 noon is Charlbury's very own Dave Oates and Jess Marshall playing a beautiful acoustic set - the perfect backdrop for supping the beers
  • Saturday 16th at 6:00pm is a ska party night with the amazing Hope & Glory - literally welcome to the house of fun!

So don't miss out on raising monies for very worthy causes... ;-)

Just to clear up some details, tickets are available in advance for the Charlbury Beer Festival "Oktoberfest" on 15 and 16 October in the Memorial Hall. There will be three different sessions, so plenty of opportunity for fun. And remember, all proceeds go to charitable causes: https://www.charlburybeerfestival.org/tickets/ ;
