Wild swimming through the winter.

Hello. 

Is anyone planning to cold dip through the winter? I'd like to. Most of my buddies swim in the Thames but it is a bit of trek. I have been in the Evenlode above the weir and it seems fine to me for a short cold swim. I just don't much like going in there on my own. Especially as it gets colder. I wonder if anyone else would like to dip regularly in the Evenlode over the autumn and winter months. I am aware of the possible contamination of the river and am not looking for a discussion about that. Thanks! Ed
