Wed 4 Aug 2021, 10:34 There were S everal police cars on blue lights going up and down Forest Road; this was followed by quite a lot of activity at Walcot then a number of police on foot with torches searching (?) on Millfield for at least 30 minutes, combined with searchlights over the fields from the helicopter overhead. Finally lots of activity in Mill Lane and down to the river by the bridge before they all left, apparently without whatever/whoever they were looking for. We were watching ‘24 Hours in Police Custody’ at the time and it was quite surreal moving from small screen to real time activity just outside our house! |

Wed 4 Aug 2021, 09:14 It seemed to hover over Cornbury for a bit and then descend. Too dark to see the livery but perhaps Thames Valley Air Ambulance attending an incident on the Wilderness site? |
